sprinting will provide the greatest loss in body fat in the shortest time frame. sprinting also causes a greater increase in GH secretion with a minimal increase in serum cortisol. distance running does not provide the same GH release and it also causes a decrease in resting total testosterone levels and elevated cortisol levels.

* you can sprint either 100 or 200 yds, then walk the same distance and perform another sprint. repeat for 10-20 minutes

definitely running, even walking. you probably wouldnt be able to sprint for any longer than a minute at the most. if you could jog for just 20 minutes this would be even better. whats best is walking for 30- 45 mins at a time, 4,5 or 6 days a week. it doesnt matter how strenuous the exercise is, however you should be breaking a sweat, and walking briskly should make you sweat. its all about how long you exercise, not the intensity.
try sprinting for 30 seconds every 3 minutes during the brisk walk. this should raise your heartrate even higher, and in turn trigger more fat burning.
be sure to take a day off at least once a week. your body needs to recuperate.

a combination of both is perfect try doing sprints for 10 seconds and jogging for 50 seconds followed by another 10 seconds of sprinting...repeat 10-15 times

in subsequent workouts increase the sprinting time by 5 seconds and reduce the amount of time jogging by 5 seconds..this works great for dropping fat fast if done in the morning and then doing a separate workout with weights at nite.

First, what age are you? It was one of the things I always worried. When I was first grade, I was the slowest at running or sprinting, but when I became in sixth grade, I became taller, and I can run faster. If your height is not growing anymore, try to think in your head that you must sprint faster than anyone else, and then you can be fast at running.

would you rather run for an a hour or do sprints for 20min? You'll burn more or less the same calories sprinting for 20min. your metabolism will also stay elevated longer after the sprints and you dont have to spend so long in the gym.

Definitely running. With cardio it's all about keeping the same tempo and having the same heartbeat. Run for 45 minutes a day and try to keep the same tempo.

Good luck!

running, sprints are more of speed thing they helpyou build it up and endurance. running is better for losing weight because you can run longer andburnmore calories. if yousprint you will get tired faster and burn less calories.
