I looked through my personal library and the best I could do was a '41 w/V-8 cost $605 and a '68 base price was $2237. Since both of these year's models were virtually unchanged from the previous year, the prices were around the same. No civilian trucks were produced in '43 due to World War II.

Between 1941 and 1945 there was this great war going on. Most of Fords production was halted for steel for the war effort. The flat head ford V-8, 60 horsepower truck was about 1,000 dollars and deluxe trim a little more. Most of the Trucks were military spec. In 1967 the Ford truck had recently introduced indepentant suspension Twin I beam front axle and base model cost 3,000 upward to the XLT camper special to almost 5,000 dollars

Well, If this help you any, I was checking out old National Geographic magazines not that long ago and I saw advertisement back in the day of 1940's - 43's cars were going
for anywhere between $500.00 to $895.00. But a 1967 was a
little more expensive @ $2800.00.

The real question isn't how much they cost, the real question is one of worth. How much was that dollar worth? How many hours did you have to work to get that amount of money? Back when I entered the work force, 75 cents an hour was a good wage. My father talked about working for very good wages at 50 cents a day. So looking at it that way, prices today are a little less than they were back then.
Another way to look at it is to use "the gold standard". How many ounces of gold would it take to get the item? You can still get a very good suit for an ounce of gold. $38 then, about $600 now.

This isn't much help, but I know 1947 was the first year a Ford passenger car base price was over $1000.
