Astral Projection is NOT a Christian thing. It belongs to another religion. Therefore (1) It is NOT forbidden in the Bible (because they had never heard of it) and (2) If YOU are NOT Christian and want to do Astral Projection, you don't have to worry about it because the Bible does not apply to you.
Go for it!

go to this site, as you will see there is nothing wrong with astral projection, if fact it is much the opposite. Human Beings were designed for this and it is your responsibility to experience this, as much as it is a CHRISTIANS responsibility to study the bible. One can believe in GOD, and not the bible. As god is literally within us.
PS your body is not open to demonic attack, your body and astral body are connected by an astral cord, and it is only possible to sever the cord upon death. However, not all people see the cord, so dont think you are susceptible to attack by these "DEMONIC CREATURES" (Bullsh!t)

Because the PEOPLE who wrote the bible had nothing better to do with their time...........so they figured that they would just condemn everyone and everything that they couldn't understand or didn't accept within themselves........after all, it's in our nature to alienate, be afraid of and try to destroy what we fear and what we don't understand.
I'm sure most of the "christians" out there aren't even aware of the fact that they are all going to hell along with the rest of us due to wearing blended fabrics....shaving and cutting their hair........and eating sea life that resides at the bottom of the ocean. After all, if one is to take the bible seriously, one should follow every rule theirin and not pick and choose which rules to follow.
So, astral projection is forbidden in the bible because early christians had nothing better to do so they decided to start a tradition...........condemnation. :)

Hmmm, let's see...Could it be that astral projection is a form of witchcraft that was used by shamans, witchdoctors, monks, witches and the like? And that it deals with the conversing of spirits in the spiritual realm other than God's--you know like ghosts, demons, things like that... Just to tell you that all witchcraft is about is conversing and manipulating spirits to do what you want (a.k.a. gods/goddess)

This is not actually mentioned as such in the Bible although it could well be included in occult practice which is forbidden,it is a very dangerous thing to do cause while the spirit is outside the body on another plane it will certainly be open to demonic attack or possession.

From the Catechism of the Catholic Church:
Divination and magic
2115 God can reveal the future to his prophets or to other saints. Still, a sound Christian attitude consists in putting oneself confidently into the hands of Providence for whatever concerns the future, and giving up all unhealthy curiosity about it. Improvidence, however, can constitute a lack of responsibility.
2116 All forms of divination are to be rejected: recourse to Satan or demons, conjuring up the dead or other practices falsely supposed to "unveil" the future.[48] Consulting horoscopes, astrology, palm reading, interpretation of omens and lots, the phenomena of clairvoyance, and recourse to mediums all conceal a desire for power over time, history, and, in the last analysis, other human beings, as well as a wish to conciliate hidden powers. They contradict the honor, respect, and loving fear that we owe to God alone.
2117 All practices of magic or sorcery, by which one attempts to tame occult powers, so as to place them at one's service and have a supernatural power over others - even if this were for the sake of restoring their health - are gravely contrary to the virtue of religion. These practices are even more to be condemned when accompanied by the intention of harming someone, or when they have recourse to the intervention of demons. Wearing charms is also reprehensible. Spiritism often implies divination or magical practices; the Church for her part warns the faithful against it. Recourse to so-called traditional cures does not justify either the invocation of evil powers or the exploitation of another's credulity.

In the Christian faith the fortune tellers soothsayers and people who predict the future are verbotten (forbidden)
i believe that there has been people who have made predictions that have came very close to prophecy...but they were very talented in their craft..witchcraft which is controlled by Satan.
