Last night I went out with work colleagues and met the boyfriend of one of my colleagues. As I walked into the bar he already knew my name as he introduced himself.

Towards the end of the night, he spoke to me, saying:I'm his idol, he admires me a lot and that he hopes that his girlfriend won't dump him to be with me!!!

What could she have possibly told her boyfriend about me for him to say those things to me???

Could she secretly fancy me???

This was the 1st time i met him....

I'm a bloke......

perhaps a form of reverse psychology? she has probably spoke about you to her bf and he has noticed she likes you?

i would definately confront the girl about it and see what her reaction is...

Women talk a lot.

She will be speaking to her partner about her work life and if you get on well your name will be mentioned frequently at home.

I had this with a female colleague who told me her boyfriend was sick of hearing my name. We worked as a small team in a small office. No sexual tension between us just a good working relationship and a jealous boyfriend.

Her boyfriend sounds like a fanny or perhaps he was taking the pizz.

How refreshing for a guy to be comfortable with his own mojo. I love it. Anyway, maybe your work colleague is genuinely in admiration of your work......perhaps she does fancy you - whatever the case stay away. Your not welcome as the third wheel in their relationship. Its flattering to be admired but don't cross the line or the boyfriend may have a bunch of fives for you next time instead of a friendly handshake!

Maybe his relationship is at a standstill and he has heard all these great things about a woman from his gf that he has built you up beyond normal ways of relating. I would take it is a compiment and move on. Just watch yourself from any further advances when you are out with co-workers and he might be there.

Please tell me that he was drunk when he said this! How bizarre! He's probably feeling insecure as most guys are when it involves other blokes. This is his not so subtle way of marking his territory. Dogs pee and insecure men act like idiots. What I'd like to know is how he recognized you before you were introduced? Either way, I'd give this one a wide berth. Any woman who talks about another man to her BF enough to cause him to act like a complete a** is very bad news.

Don't get to high on yourself yet.
She may have said that you are very nice.
Kiss of death!
Don't put this one in the bank until she says something to you.

Throw the **** block on him unless she is a big sheila who is throwing gang signs at you with her grill, Homey. Have you humped any kangaroos lately?
