My dad does but quite frankly they aren't my cup of tea. Better to oven cook or buy frying chips.

I've never oven cooked "oven chips", I always deep fry them

yeah they even normally come with cooking instructions and list options as oven / grill / fry. Although if you are going to fry them, why buy oven chips ?

Most chips that are labelled ovenchips carry instructions for frying them too however it will obviously increase the fat content

hope I am not infringing terms of advertising but McCains oven chips are also nominated "Home Fries". I use them all the time and they are scrumptious.

because oil will be in the chips and thts not good
