I will not believe the validity of something I have not experienced or proved.. I will believe in the possibility of it existing. It is dogmatic for those who can't prove ghosts, to say they exist.. It is also dogmatic for those who can't disprove ghosts, to say they don't exist..
I myself have experienced "ghosts," I have seen 4 of these. 2 in my house, and 2 at my boarding school, and felt what could have been ghosts in other places as well.. Right after my mother died 3 years ago, I experienced a dark gray form walking around my house for about 2 weeks, while a family friend saw her appear by her bedside 5 minutes after she died.. Also, saw someone get attacked by a "ghost," I was right next to her, and felt it too.. So who can say if its real eh?
As a buddhist, we entertain the possibility that ghosts are beings, who's minds were trapped with attachments.. I know quantum science explains that it is completely possible, and very likely for them to exist.. Basically, approach the ghost possibility with a balance of an open mind with skepticism, and also have a balance of proof and experience.. This will find out the truth for you.. Well, hope this helps, cheers!

Sometimes , i just cant stop to wonder , how can people deny these entities existence . I mean , these beings or spirits have been captured on infra-red camera and other modern devices . What is so hard for people to acknowledge their existence ? Just because of the people have not seen one , that does not mean that they dont exist .
Millions of people have seen it . I think ghost or spirits or whatever you may call them , are just like us , depending on energy to survive and they too will be influenced by changes as time goes on . Its just that they come in a different form than we do .
As proven by science , energy cannot be created and they cannot be destroyed . So , if you were to link a living being to spirits , after they die , the energy remains , and only the body form changes .
There are so much HOO HAH about this spirits matter , actually why dont we just acknowledge their existence and then continue to do our things , what is so hard about that ? and if you dont want to acknowledge them , so what ~

The soul(atma) is immortal, but may be unsatisfied before leaving the human body at the time of death. If soul not rest in peace, then soul shall enter again to satisfy the unfulfilled desires. In hindus, after a person dies, the 10th day is a pinda-dan ceremony. where a leaf filled with rice is offered to the crow. I have seen the crow tasting the pindas of some persons very quickly, some not at all. Near a Hindu crematorium, u will find many crows and many pinda offerings, still the crow will taste first of the person whose all desires were satisfied.

You categorically can't prove that they exist, otherwise we've have no choice to believe in them!
A lot of people believe that variations in electro-magnetic fields, which are a natural occurance which sometimes distort unexplainably, are caused by the presence of spirits. I find it hard to believe that spirits which are non-corporeal will have that kind of influence in our world, either intentionally or otherwise.
Of course, witnesses are legally highly regarded in court cases, but when it comes to people who've seen ghosts they're pretty much laughed at! Many people say that with so many witnesses to ghosts or spiritual occurances, how could ghosts not exist? People generally debunk this idea with the explanation that people see what they want to see, or make biased assumptions towards "unexplainable" events (i.e. hearing a voice from far away that could be a trick of air molecules, but believing without reservation that it was a ghost because that's what they want to believe).
I've heard many, many first-hand accounts of people witnessing strange events. These normally take the form of people waking up in the middle of the night thinking of, for example, their grandmother, and then finding out the next morning that at that exact time their grandmother passed away in hospital. Other versions include seeing ghostly visions instead of having a "feeling", or even hearing them speak or feeling them touch them in a familiar way, i.e. stroking their hair in grandma's habitual way.
I don't really believe in ghosts, because it would intimate a belief in the soul. I find religion generally laughable and was hesitate before accepting that what I believe to be the "soul" - thouht processes coupled with emotions of the "heart" - could turn out to be some semi-tangible essence or spirit.

.it has been with us for thousand of years . the story's of ghosts some may say the afterlife. but what do you believe when you die. does your spirit live on. . I can see why not i have seen ghosts i know they are there.and that is it. we all have souls and it is up to us to guide our souls to a better way of life. we die in the physical world and we are alive in the spiritual world. to prove otherwise there is also freewill .what you believe is really how open you are to other possabilities

That would also depend on your definition of Ghosts. No I have never felt or seen one. and if your definition of a Ghost is a dead person No I don't believe in them because the Bible does not say that is possible(Ecclesiastes 9:5) But if your definition is Wicked spirits yes I do believe they exist, they are spoken of in the Bible

Ghost will only prove themselves to a selected few. I have seen them, felt them around me. They have howled like a pack of wolves in my presence. I just don't go around jumping in the streets telling everyone and looking like a coo-coo. I know what society, especially in this dark age of athiesm, would do to me. (BTW a little faith never hurt anyone)
Say if you do come in contact, never be scared. Your fear is what makes you vunreble to them bringing you harm.
