Very dry and matter of fact. You still get just as nervous, however I found it to be a lot easier than having hundreds of people watching me

You will exchange vows, and the Justice should ask you if you want to include a biblical blessing or not, and, you will be asked "do you promise to...love through thick and thin, better or worse, sicker or poorer...etc.,etc, till death do you part. It really isnt all that bad, just keep in mind that you are doing this as a commitment for the rest of your life and if you mess up, or get too nervous, it's ok cause the person you are marrying will love you anyways and I am sure they will see worse in the next 70 years. Good Luck and Congrats!!

It's pretty much a very simple deal. My husband and I were married at the courthouse 3 years ago. We had very simple wedding vows. We also exchaged wedding rings. Just because we were married at the courthouse doesn't mean your vows mean less than someone who spent thousands of dollars on their wedding. My in laws made my husband and I feel like that. It's YOUR day. Enjoy it!!!

you can do your own vows if you want. You can bring a family mem. or close friend as a witness to sign your marriage license or have the clerk sign it. You can also have Bridesmaids or groomsmen, you can dress up in wedding attire if you like. Pretty much same as traditional ceremony w/o all the attendants or people.
