Apparently, the closings were due to lack of sales.

I have eaten there a few times, and each time wondered why I bothered going again. The food was terribly overpriced, small-portioned, and not even attractively served. I did get one really great recipe from it: a tuna salad seasoned with curry, with apples and raisins, but I can make it myself for about a dollar's worth of ingredients, and they charged $9 for a sandwich with a couple of pieces of hard rye. It's all about the food.
