Your lower back can hurt for many different reasons. It could be from lumbar disc problems, lumbar facet joint problems, sacroiliac joint problems, or muscle strains/ sprains. The good news is that the majority of back pain resolves on its own in about 6 weeks. I would still see your doctor sooner and maybe get a referral to a pain management specialist who is trained in diagnosing and treating lower back pain problems.

Whether it gets really bad or not, you should go and see your doctor and be checked out There are many things that can cause tenderness aroun the spinal notches. Bumps, position in bed or in sitting. Lifting heavy weights incorrectly, tweisting injuries and I could go on for a lot more. But my advise is to get a consult with an orthopaedic surgeon skilled in back injuries. Get a referral from your local GP and don't delay. Back injuries and pains are not something one puts up with or ignores as they can affect your whole life and mental outlook. Make an appointment today! STAY AWAY FROMM CHIROPRACTORS!

maybe you've been sitting in a wrong position (perhaps using your pc), or it could be work related, or believe it or not maybe is your mattress. Or see a doc if it gets really bad.
