It is not uncommon to lose 100 hairs a day. Even more in the winter months when we don't absorb as many natural vitamins through the sun.

Hi Ya
Take a breath sit down and think is your hair really falling out or is it snapping off. There is a big difference if your hair is fallling out then on the end of the hair will be a small round like a pin head, this is the root, you will have to look closely or feel it with your fingers and you would be able too. If none there then your hair is snapping off. All hair after it grows out of the scalp is dead hair. If you have roots on the hair go to the doctors.
If there are no roots try changing your shampoo or conditioner. It could be weather conditions. It could be medication your taking ,change in diet, aproduct your using on your hair. Any doubts whatso ever to ease your mind see a hair stylist so they can have a good look at the hair and after asking you the questions I've asked can advise you. Don't panic stress can also show by hair snapping off.
Hope this helps

A Have you had a perm? USE INFUSIUM EVERY DAY Leave in treatment and use a pick not a comb or brush condition often avoid straightening your hair too much process
B Do you shower with extremely hot water? Try luke warm and a cold rinse after conditioner this will allow for natural shine brilliant and healthy looking hair
C Just had a Baby? back 2 Beautiful in 3 months sing 2 da baby avoid over strain and arguements and eat aplenty all the food groups your body needs what the baby took form you
D Surgury or operation? same as above sing humble yourself back to good wellness
Use ivory body soap 2wice a month yes i said it to clean your hair to remove and cleanse the over build up and dandruff do not scratch your head thinking your cleaning it all your doing is irritating the roots.
Here first of all look at the hair products you are currently using and stop using em. Many have dyes alcohols and stuff that works to style but damages the core folicle
To repair listen carefully I in a similar situation years ago and after many kids and stress abundant im 34 and grateful to say very good hair long shiny and supple curly and bouncy and straightened to a smooth feel to strengthen the hair right away go to Walgreens or CVS any where hair products are sld.....and buy Infusium the newest product of theirs is called:
(moisture)ologie by Infusium 23 its a 2 step shampoo and conditioner follow up with the original Infusium hair treatment a Leave in treatment quarter sized amount in your palm following your head upside down finger combed in your hair to penatrate once through is adequate enough then a comb gently to get out the kinks stop blowdryin and use loose lassos or hair bands to start the repair wash as often as neccassary but better to condition more so use hair styling products less and try not to fuss too much clip up instead Allow you hair to breathe any major changes in your life will be tough but take a deep breath and exercise and stretch when your feeling your worst meditate and avoid smoke. Take a vitamin supplement of vitamin E this will make you shave more iften lol but will start the process of hair renewing
Good Luck Beautiful

Hi Steph!!!
You do not say how old are you or if you are in meds.
Most of the time, the hair will fall out when there is a change in the diet, due to age, or dyes.
The other more serious reasons why this could be happening is, stress, medications, hair being held to tight or even
far more serious conditions other than that!!!
I suggest you go and visit your doctor, he will send for some blood tests, for specific, possible reasons. When this results come back, ask him if it would be wise to start taking vitamins. Because it could also be some deficiency in vitamins intake. Anyway you should consult your doctor.
GOOD LUCK, GOD BLESS YOU & HAPPY LIFE
A.Z.

you need to treat your hair with a good trim, this will help also the hair loss can be down to a iron deficiency, try eating raw jelly, also good for hair and nails, if the hair loss has been going on for some time it may be a good idea to see your GP, for a blood test, have you been under stress with exams etc all this can show in the condition of your hair, try not to worry as you know its normall to shed hair every day it always appears to be much more with longer hair than short, as its more noticeable, exp hairdresser over 20 years

I wouldn't worry too much (that'll just make it worse), it's probably a change in diet, or perhaps you're a bit more stressed than usual ?
My suggestion is you take a multivitamin daily with a good balanced meal, make sure you eat correctly for the next few weeks (try eating more protein, stuff like tofu, nuts and low fat meat) and just RELAX.
If you're dyeing or perming your hair, STOP right now ! Hair can only take so much abuse, and when hair starts to break and fall out from being over-processed, it's a bad sign.
Natural is best !

There are many reasons that this can happen. Are you on any medications? That is a factor. Are you having any health or problems in eating area's? That can be a big factor. Check with your Doctor they can help find out what's wrong. Sorry to hear that you're having this problem.

To some extent that is normal. If you are overly concerned you should start adding vitamin supplements to your diet.
Vit E is renoun for its association with healthy hair.
