i recently reset my computer and now my disk will not let me install it say install but when i hit install it says an error has occurred

Go to Start, then RUN. Browse for the disk location (c:\D:\E: examples). Then browse the precise location of the disk (C:\D\E: examples for a file called INSTALL.exe or SETUP. EXE. Double click it to start the installation process.

This should clear your problem right up! If the disk is damaged you might not be able to view it in Run.

What is 'reset' a computer?
What disk are you trying to install?
Is everything working normal other than installing a program?
What operating system are you running ?
