Okay.. so i go to school with this guy.. that i know had a crush on me.. a couple years back.. well he moved away an now hes back.. weve kissed a couple times.. and hes always looking my way.. i catch him galancing at me.. and he catches me staring at him.. well.. lately he hasnt really been acting like he likes me.. i mean sure hes been flirting with me.. like taking my car keys n all but.. hes just not the way he was at the beginning .. my friend talked to him about us.. and the kissing.. and he told her he had really strong feeling for me.. (only thing i didnt mention was im kinda with someone else too..and he knows.hes known from the begining ,, do u think that hes just staying away .. so he doesnt get hurt.. or becuz he doesnt like me?

sounds like to me that he really likes you.. and that you should just break up with the other guy.. odiv. you like him too.. and he must mean something to you.. and you must mean something to him.. hes prolly a lil hurt at the moment.. but im sure he understands.. he the other guy was there before he was.. perhaps hes feeling a lil in the way.. and he doesnt want you to make a regretful action.. you should really talk to him.. and see what he has to say about things

I think the answer is that he is "distant" because you are "seeing" someone else. He thinks you like the other guy. You have to choose, knowing that he does like you. Why is he looking your way? I only look at girls repeatedly because I like what i see. I met a girl 8 days ago. I kept looking her way and finally went over to talk to her. We exchanged numbers and have gone out once since then and it was the best day of my life. It is too early to start telling her how I feel because we just met. I will not say I am "in-love" with her, but I sure do have strong feelings already. I am hoping that she is the One. You have known this person for a while now and obviously, like you said, have even kissed. I believe it is safe to say that if you truly want to be with him, ditch this other person(as politely as possible) and get with the person you REALLY like. It may be too late tomorrow. I have hesitated in the past after knowing someone for over a year and now she is out of my life for good. I have contacted that person and she does not return my calls or write back to me. What is here today may be gone tomorrow. Don't hesitate. Best wishes in your decision.

He told your friend that he has strong feelings for you and he's been flirting with you, so it sounds like he likes you.
He's probably just staying away because you are with someone, and like you said, so he doesn't get hurt.

i think he stays away because he do not want to get hurt because u are already with somweone else. He might not want to be the third party though.
