Okay, so I'm a 24 male and I've been talking to this guy online for a couple days now. The second day he gave me his phone number and told me to feel free to text him or call him sometime. Then today we talked and I offered that he call me and we get a cup of coffee. He actually called me and we met. Things were a little awkward for me at first but he broke into conversation about some crazy incident he had had. We grabbed coffee and sat in the park talking for about an hour or so about family, work, what we want to do, etc. He apologized for rambling at one point and held good eye contact throughout as well as braving the cold the whole time to talk. I'd like to think he's interested but at the end he said it was nice to meet me and shook my hand. I told him to give me a call monday or tuesday as I'm free and that was it, we said goodbye. I don't know, is he interested?

Sounds like he may be interested; keep your fingers crossed!
I mean, I guess it depends on whether or not he makes an effort to contact you.

You shouldn't see the fact that he shook your hand as a bad thing; maybe he was just being courteous.
Good luck! =)

You need to wait and see if he calls. If he doesn't by the end of the week, then phone him or e-mail him to see if he'd like to meet for a cup of coffee. Make it somewhere that you won't need to freeze so that perhaps the conversation can last longer than an hour. If he apologized for rambling, he may feel that you found him boring or that he came across as an a**. He was probably feeling anxious. People who are nervous have a tendency to run at the mouth. I did when I first met my husband. He just smiled and politely listened to me as I rambled. I thought it he didn't like me! It's worth another try.

Totally. He was nervous and chatty because he was interested. The eye contact is a good sign. He's nice. He's not the kind to try to get you in the sack over coffee. If he has money and manners, he is primo boyfriend material. Good luck!

Whew, long one. Didn't pickup on the uh... orientation at first, lol. Whatever, I'm not here to judge you. Let's see, if he's kind of um... feminine, then I'd definatly say he's intereseted, cuz I know that girls like to do that when they like a guy to see how much he cares about what they say.

Good luck dude!
