Talk to him and tell him what's bothering you. Explain to him how you feel and how he's making you feel about the relationship. Ask yourself if you really want to be going through that type of relationship and/or is it worth it.

Make him suffer then take him back under your terms. If he doesn't comply dump him. That would imply that he wants you when theres nothing better.
