It sounds like the topic centers around the issue of whether or not it is ethical to chemically or surgically alter someone's sexual system. In the case of chemical castration the question would be, is it morally acceptable for the government (judges, etc.) to impose a punishment which changes or destroys the normal system of sexual desires. In other words, do we have the right to force someone to take a drug that cuts off his sexual desire? Under this general question, the sub-questions to be asked would be, #1 Do we have adequate proof that chemical castration stops rapists from comitting crimes (this would require some research into the current studies on this). #2 Even if we do have proof that chemical castration prevents rape, is this a morally acceptable way to prevent rape? Does the "end justify the means" here? Does the end ever justify the means? Aren't we in some sense "raping" someone by chemically castrating them? These are the questions I see surrounding that topic.

In the case of female circumcision, it is a similar situation. Females in some parts of the world are forced to undergo surgical removal of their sexual organs (often without anesthesia) to satisfy social/cultural customs of their society. This is analogous to taking a dull knife and scraping off the head of a man's penis. Is this something that should be legal? If we say yes, then we are saying it is OK to take a knife to someone's sexual organs against their will, and change their sexual feelings (and possibly their health). On the other hand, if we say it's not legal, we are saying that another culture (one that we may not fully understand) is "wrong" and should live by our standards. Do we have the right to do this?

Overall I'd say you are dealing with the question of when (if ever) it is acceptable, morally, ethically, and legally, to forcibly alter someone sexually. If you are writing an argumentative paper, simply choose a position (it's never right/it's sometimes right/it's always right), and then do some reading on these subjects to look for facts to support your conclusion. If you say it's right, then look for statistics showing that chemical castration prevents rape. If you say it's wrong, then look for information about long-term damage caused by female circumcision, etc. If you back up your conclusions with facts, you will be writing a good paper, whichever argument you choose to go with.

Good luck!!

He is just trying to be respectful. Give him the feeling of being more intimate. Im sure hes just trying to respect you so you might have to make the first move. He likes you. Go for the first kiss. He needs a little pushing. Good luck.
