The firing order for the ford 302 is 1-5-4-2-6-3-7-8 with counter-clockwise rotation. Remember to check these numbers on the intake manifold behind the distributor.

1-5-4-2-6-3-7-8 if it a standard 5.0 It will also be on the intake manifold if it is the Ford manifold

check the intake manifold........it should be embossed right on top................I believe it,s 1,8,4,3.6,5,7,2.
