We went out once, she really liked me cuz she said I was cute and whatever. However, I think she lost intrest in meand hasn't called in almost a week, blah blah blah. I realised that I didn't really like her as anything more than just a friend. We are coworkers (i'm 20 she's 19) and I like her as a friend. How do I deal with this situation?

just act as if you were just friends. if she brings it up, say that you figure you should be just friends. guarantee she is thinking the same thing if she hasn't called in over a week.

Just tell her things aren't working out as planned and you have some issues you need to work out. As tempting as it would be, don't just ignore her or avoid her, it will make the situation worse and she will end up hating you for it after she's called you 1000 times to find out what the deal is.

you don't. thats it. You let her try to move the relationship forward thats when you do something, otherwise you leave it alone, just like she is doing, she has not called , she also felt uncomfortable with you... when she calls, you let her talk, if she asks how come you have not called her, you state, since she did not called you assumed she did not like you and that it hurt you a little, and so that you think that it is best just to be friends for now ...and then leave it alone..

If she has lost interest and hasn't tried calling you it seems that the problem has fixed itself. You just remain nice - that's all.

Well she is not calling you so it seems simple enough.Don't call her and as far as at work easy fix talk to her only if you absolutely have to about something directly linked to your specific job. :)

Simply make her aware that she shouldn't expect anything beyond a friend.
