St Emilion's main grape variety is Merlot, and St Emilion wines are usually a blend with the majority of the blend being Merlot.

It is unlikely that the varieties used in the wine will be named anywhere on the label, but the information should be available if you ask.

A 1982 wine - 25 years old - is likely to be very aged and wil be thinning, browning and not what you might expect. It is best to buy from a reputable merchant who can indicate that the wine has been correctly stored.

You do not say where you are, but if you use www.winesearcher.com you can search for 1982 St Emilions; there are pleanty around, expect to pay $59 upwards.

If you want a Cabernt Sauvignon based wine, look for Bordeaux wines from nearby areas such as Pauillac.

(St Emilion is an attractive village in the Bordeaux region, and a sub appellation of Bordeaux. Look for Appellation St Emilion Controllee on the label.

Have you even tried searching the internet for wineries in that area of France? That would be what I would have to do to give you your answer. Or there is a spot on eBay that you can put in for something you are looking for but it may take awhile for someone to answer. I don't even know that alcohol can be sold on eBay because of the age legalities, etc.
