this guy i like at school smiles big and asks me 'how are you' everytime i see him and i smile back at him and have some small talk.. once i was queueing up for food and he saw me, and he went into the same queue but i don't think much of it cos i think he wanted the same thing i was having. and then one day on my way to class i saw him and he saw me across the room and he sorta just like stared at me and i stared back...
when my guy friend asked him whether he likes me, he said, 'no, i don't know' and when he said to him, 'i think she likes you' he got all excited.. my guy friend who is close to him thinks he does like me though, but i don't know... does he? once i walked past him and when i turned around i caught him staring at me and then he looked away when he saw me look at him.
when i talk to him on msn, he asks me questions like, 'so anything special happen lately?' and 'how are you?' and 'whats up'.

so the question is whether he likes me or not, cos i'm really not sure.. i don't see this guy in any of my classes... does he like me or not?

well the way that he looks at you might be a clue that he does like you.
If your guy friend asked him if he like you he might have gotten nervous or something.
Oh my well if he got all excited then maybe he might be feeling something for you.
try to keep on talking to him nicely, ask him questions...like what do you like doing, what sport do you play, and so on. Just try to get to know him more and let him get to know you too.
little by little both of you are gonna get to know more things about each other.
Hey you never know that maybe later on both of you might even go out.=]

maybe he is not sure if u are for him, give him time, and don't make him special before he make u first... so lets the first step be from him, don't ask so much about him, to not let him feel that u follow him.. so calm down and act normally, and sometimes ignore him, then u will see if he likes u he will come to u.,.. good luck

Yeah he likes you for sure.. but this sounds like one of those "relationships" that will last for about 1 month or less.. or an off and on thing.. just be careful. dont get too attached.. But go ahead and try to become closer to him =].
