No, sometimes we don't need to know the truth

We have a talent for screwing everything up. So if you take away lying, there would probably be even more fighting, because the rest of our sin nature would still be there. Some might even learn to exploit others because they knew that only the truth would be told.

No, I do not agree, either all sin goes away, or none of it. If all sin were taken away from us, the world would be a better place.

As a Christian I would agree with your hypothesis, on the surface.
However I prefer to have freewill over being physically incapable of doing something.

We would be better off if we couldn't sin, but the fact of the matter is we're all sinners. If we repent, ask for forgiveness, and ask Jesus Christ to come into our hearts, then we will be forgiven.

The world would be a better place if everybody excepted Jesus Christ as their Saviour and follow his teaching.

Christians are not perfect...only forgiven.

John 3v.20 Everyone who does evil hates the light, and will not come into the light for fear that his deeds will be exposed

1 John 1 v. 7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all[a] sin.

Not neccesarily. It may be, it may not be. I don't think there's a clear answer to that, there will be positives and negatives from both situations.

I'd be happy to see no lying.
That was, there'd be no fanatical religious zealots and no church.
Whata wonderful world it would be!

She lied. She cheated. It sucks. Get over it. I swear it happens to everyone. As long as you didn't get a disease or lose money, remember that there are better people out there, regardless of how you feel now. God bless you.
