Salvation Army questions should be in the civic section of yahoo answers. The Salvation Army does alot of good. They have a whole social service system. Their mission is, "to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ and to meet human needs in His name without discrimination." who said it was, they didnt help people here who had fires but they did run flop houses so degenrates could stay in the area unitl the police picked them up for something
