The Seven Deadly Sins are as follows: Luxuria (extravagance, later lust), Gula (gluttony), Avaritia (avarice/greed), Acedia (sloth), Ira (wrath), Invidia (envy), and Superbia (pride/hubris). Each of The Seven Deadly Sins has an opposite among the corresponding Seven Holy Virtues (sometimes also refered to as the Contrary Virtues).

Prov.23:19 Hear thou, my son, and be wise, and guide thine heart in the way.
20 Be not among winebibbers; among riotous eaters of flesh: 21 For the drunkard and the glutton shall come to poverty: and drowsiness shall clothe a man with rags. 22 Hearken unto thy father that begat thee, and despise not thy mother when she is old.

CHRIST CAME AND NOW WE HAVE THE FRUITS OF THE SPIRIT

Gal.5:19 Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, 20 Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, 21 Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.

Gal.5:22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, 23 Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.

i love how every one feels it necessary to repeat the exact same thing 12 times.

say tell me this, the bible has been proven to contain mistakes right? as in the world is not flat, the earth is not the center of the solar system, evolution, well......forget about that for now, but theists blame "human error" for mis interpreting the bible.

so tell me this, maybe we misinterpreted the "sins" and "commandments". maybe its actually supposed to be the "10 sins" and "7 commandments"? why bother constructing your life based on a fictitious novel?

Didn't you watch the movie?
1. (Superbia) Pride
2. (Invidia) Envy
3. (Ira) Anger
4. (Avaritia) Avarice
5. (Tristia) Sadness
6. (Gula) Gluttony
7. (Luxuria) Lust

Anyway, it's a Catholic thing. Sin is sin is sin. The penalty for all is death, the only way out of it is Christ.
