Recently i lost a friend of mine named mark he was murdered over my christmas break when i was home from school he said he still cared for me and we slept together. I was devastated when he was killed we broke up a year ago or so but havesince remained friends and we dated about 15 months total. Now i am back at college and a new semester has begun. I still think of him alot i miss him, however i met someone new in my public relations class he is a cutie pie and nice we are both interested in each other so he asked me on a date i said yes im not sure what will happen between us. I am still in love with mark but hes dead and never coming back plus we were friends and he was a father to be with someone elses baby (they weren't dating anymore), i dont know what i should do please help.

I am sorry for your loss,and am sure you will never forget Mark but you should go back to dating. As a friend you know that Mark would want that for you.Friends want friends to be happy and succeed. So go out with the guy in your public relations class and see what happens. At least you will make a new friend or better. Good Luck in all!

you might never forget your friend, but it is up to you to decide whether to move on or not. you never said he was a boyfriend, just a friend with benefits. keep him in your heart, get a memorial tattoo of him, whatever you choose to do. at some point, you will want to date others, and that's not wrong. go hang out with this other guy, and explain to him what you're feeling. if he's a good guy, he'll understand.

o.k this one is simple, u said it ur self he's dead (sorry) ur not as bad or as guilty as u may feel ur still here so u need 2 live and that means experiencing new things and relationships i'm sure he would want u 2 move on especially if he really loved u he would want u happy so u need 2 live and be happy
