I have a small indoor tree that I was just planning to take down today, but then I live alone so who cares... I have a bit of a bachelor pad, I keep up with the important stuff like dishes, catbox & stuff, but holiday decorations aren't on top of my list. Anything that can't spoil, rot, mold or smell tends to be picked up pretty late around here :)

And I agree with those who keep outdoor lights up a long time! It's still dark very early every night, I enjoy seeing cheerful lights... maybe not the Santa's & reindeer 'n stuff but just a lights are a welcome sight all winter long as far as I'm concerned.

Someone told me that the icicle lights remind them of fringe. I wanted to put up red, white and blue Christmas lights so I could burn them again in March for TX Indedpendence Day and again in July for US Indepedence Day, but I was voted down.

Mine are down, but it just happen this week. It's 20 degrees here and we are getting a lot of snow. They could have stayed out there until spring as far as I'm concerned.

Haven't even taken the tree down yet! It's ok - its fake, LOL! I think I'm going to make it an all-occasion tree - put up Equinox and Solstice decorations; Easter and mid-summer, etc., etc. - maybe even birthday dec's!!
