I explain the same things to my boyfriend over and over again, but he can't believe me! He thinks I am making him feel jealous and hurt on purpose! He lives in another country. We can only email each other now. We both are insecure. I am so frustrated, upset about the situatioon, and sad... How can we make happy each other again?

I'm currently in a long distance relationship..not as long distance as yours but still there. My fiance and I are from the same state, but I'm in another state in college. As long as there is a strong bond of trust, there is no reason it couldnt work. Mail and getting letters is the BEST. It's one thing to tell someone how your really feeling over the phone, but totally a different story when you write it down. Seeing your emotions on paper will give him a different view on your devotion. Reading and knowing you took the time to write down what you had to say and how you felt will boost his moral as well as set your love in stone. Good Luck!!

I just broke up with my long distance boyfriend and man the relieve is so much better than hanging onto a unhealthy, paranoid relationship. The insecurity does not get better by the way. Once it's in place it's all downhill from here. I just wen't through it 6 months ago and know I'm with my new man who is my soul mate. Move on as friends before you hate eachother.
P.S. I hate Tom.

long distance relationships hardly ever work. Maybe you can 'break up' and still talk with hopes of being together again 'one day'. And maybe it will happen. But don't make each other miserable in the meantime, it will only cause resentment.

trust= the most importance, u must work on tht first. wht got u attacted to him? if u can show him tht u still are attracted to him, tht might help a bit. take small steps, don't jump at it

sounds like a no win situation - i agree with the break up now- and then see wat happens later comment - you know if this is the person you are meant to be with - then you will end up with them wether it be in a month - 10 months - or 10 years!!
