and it had that rough feeling you get when you burn your tongue. but now that's gone but i just noticed some really big red bumps in on the back corner of my tongue...there's like 3 of them. they hurt whenever i talk because it rubs against my teeth and whenever i swallow and the saliva travels back to my throat and it goes over the bumps it hurts. i'm so confused as to what these bumps are...i've burnt my tongue many times but i've never had bumps like this before. maybe it's because even though i burnt my tongue, i continued to drink the hot chocolate and it kept burning.... =\ my dad says they're probably blisters but idk. what do you think? i'm so confused as to what to do.

This happened to my sister. The bumps mean you burned your tongue worse than before. They are blisters from the burn. Try not to talk so much of talk softly. Eating, try to eat soft foods such as ice cream or jelly. The doctor told my sister this because the ice cream is cold, it won't hurt the bumps. They will heal within a few days. may take up to a week. No more than a week.
