Joe Frazier would have won. Frazier could beat anyone in his prime (accept Foreman in his prime). Tyson couldn't beat Foreman when he came back in his forties, much less in his prime! Frazier and Tyson both were "come after you, never back down fighters" and both were very hard punchers, but Frasier was smarter (who isn't?) than Tyson and had A LOT MORE HEART AND A LOT BETTER CHIN. Can you name one GREAT fighter Tyson beat in his prime? Trevor Berbick, James Smith,
Pinklon Thomas, Tony Tucker, etc. were a bunch of stiffs he beat. I could have gone on but you get the idea. Last but not least, Joe Frazier would NEVER lose to a 40-1 odds underdog like Buster Douglas!

In thier Prime!?!?
Easy - Iron Mike Tyson
Iron Mike would still be dominating if his original Trainer "Cus Demato" didn't die. After Cus died Iron Mike transformed into Degenerate Mike.
Tyson was devastating, undefeated, and avoided when Cus Demato was alive.
Cus Demato kept Tyson secluded in the Catskill Mountains of New York. The only time Tyson was ever saw or heard from was on Fight Night. No Night Clubs....No Drug Use.....No Strip Club whores.......------Tyson was a well liked well respected Champion!
Fraiser although a formidable fighter only beat Ali 1 out of 3 and that 1 win was only after Ali was Banned from fighting for several years

It would be tough to say. Joe Fraizer was a street fighter, very tough, very determined. But he would be at a slight disadvantage over Tyson because of size, weight, and reach advantage. Unfortunately, I'd have to go with Tyson. ( GAG!! )

That is a great question.Tyson would probably wear out in the later rounds. There is no doubt that Frazier could take a better punch and more of them.In the end I think Frazier would win either by decision TKO or KO in middle to late rounds.

Iron Mike without question. In his prime, Mike was almost unstoppable. His destructive power and unnatural speed as a heavy would see Frazier beaten early.

i would love to see this fight. both had that sick left hook and could knock guys out with the right too. both could take lots of punishment (tyson took some serious shots from buster douglas and lennox lewis before going down). i say tyson cause he was faster and was my favorite fighter...he was a freakin beast.

Tyson would have the hammer. Its too bad he is so screwed up. He could have taken Ali's place as the Greatest.
