I think the program that is similar to the microsoft word, on my system is 602 text, it seems to be the only thing similar on my laptop that could produce the type of school documents required.

Open Office, which is a MS Office clone, has a version which will run on Windows 95.

u have to get the software e.g buying,but when u buy the software ,i feel is gonna make ur system slow,becos that is old os you are using which is w95 ,but you can try it and make sure,but try and buy one and u ready to roll on
