I have just prayed for you and for her. I hope you receive wisdom and that she receives the help she needs.
I suspect the can of beer and tablets is a purposefully ineffective way of ending ones life and is a physical "cry for help". If she really meant to take her life she probably would a) not tell anyone so people could not get in her way (this way she desires the attention that comes from intervention and b) use a far more effective method of suicide (jump off somewhere high - lie down in front of a passing train).
Dealing with those who are addictive is a very complicated and specialised field. Mrs Goodric (my better half) works in a ladies hostel and has been on training for it. By all means pray for this lady, but she really needs to be with those who know what they are doing. I will pray that she might get linked to such people and that she might get a second chance at going into rehab. Has she links with AA ?

no one ought to ever be afraid to take a stand for Jesus. If we are going to stand for some thing, why no longer the dominion!! each and every time I answer a query, I say a prayer even as i'm answering it. What i'm now unlikely to do is answer their question with a tart "i'm praying for you because your lost". no longer attempting to be sensible. Am attempting to be an efficient warrior. What I propose through this, is i'm attempting to enter the strive against. God hears my prayer, i recognize i'm praying, yet when I answer a query with a tarty answer, then i'd only be putting the guy off...and that i believe God has me crossing paths jointly with his little ones now to not positioned them off, yet to allure to them closer. i have extremely been waiting to commence off line conversations with a number of the unbelievers. perchance in time, they too will respond to the King's love. yet I only have one threat to percentage God's message with them if I snap out "properly, i'd be praying for you." on the different hand, if I interact them in verbal change, each and every time we connect, it is an additional desirable chance to refer to them again. i am going to under no circumstances recommend a ceasation of prayer for the unbeliever. All i'm asking, is that we search for His know-how and save in ideas, a fisherman would not get some thing achieved through dropping stones interior the water.

First of all, I am not your brother, nor would I want to be.
Secondly prayer only makes you feel better, it has no effect on the outcome of any event in our lives.
No! I will not pray for them, I will bang my head against a wall. That will do more for them than prayer.

Lord I pray right now that you would be with this family. Be with the woman, restore hope and deliver her from her addiction. Give her strength to persevere, favor that she may receive treatment, and true freedom in You. I pray for her partner who is in prison, watch over him, I pray for the children, watch over them as well. Pour your grace upon them, that they may know your love and mercy. In Jesus' name - amen!
Lord I also pray for the person who posted this request, give Him boldness, speak through him, annoint him to be Your witness. In Jesus' name - amen

I have done so, and will continue to do so. I will pray that she gets professional help with her problems. May God be with you and her. Amen.
