As a makeup artist and someone with dark circles under her eyes, no matter what she does, don't worry!!!! Everyone gets dark circles from time to time.

There can be many reasons why people get dark circles including lack of sleep, stress, nutrition and predisposition. I've had dark circles since I was a baby.

Try getting some more sleep, drink more water and improve your diet.

Also, take a close look at your skin. Dose it seem transparent near the eye area. Dark circles can be (and usually are) caused by blood vessels that are visible through the delicate, thin skin around the eye. The skin in this area is only as thick as an onion peel or tissue paper. Using an under-eye cream can sometimes help with the discoloration.

If diet, and sleep don't improve the circles, then break out some concealer. I prefer NAO Concealer/Eye Base. (www.mychoice.wwdb.biz click on beauty) It's my "miracle in a pot". The stuff covers everything from dark circles to freckles, to blemishes, to discoloration from acne scarring.

While you may notice the circles, most other people won't. I can always tell when mine are worse, but most people who know me can't.

Try getting more sleep and don't stress out about things....I get them from lack of sleep and stress. To get rid of them use eye cream or just cover it up with foundation.

Oh goodness, no, if the guests - not to mention the groom - see you with dark circles under your eyes, the wedding will end and you will go through life a single, dark-circled former bride! Get a grip and quit worrying about things that are totally inconsequential. You can wear under eye concealer, but of course that is only temporary. Once those dark circles appear, they are usually there for life. Don't worry though, after 25 years or so you will have put on a few pounds (and so will your groom), developed wrinkles, and your hair will have thinned too, so no one will notice your dreaded dark circles, including you! Beauty fades with time but dark circles remain!
