If you are not married you will probably not be with him all through the childhood years of the child so name her what you want to as you will most likely raise her without him around anyway.♪

Is the baby already born? If so you can have a baby-naming party. That is a party where within 1 week after the baby is born you invite your closest friends and family to your home. They will meet the baby and give you suggestions on the name based on their first impressions of the child. I read about this in a book.
If the child is not born, then you have time. Relax. Take a couple days off from trying to find a name and believe me names will just start coming to you. You might even meet a person with a name that you like.
I like the name Sierra Nikole, and Jessica DeShae

So he's a boyfriend and not a husband. Hmmmm. . . You did all the work, so you have the final say in the baby's name (first and last).
If you have a baby with a man you are not married to, NEVER, EVER give the child HIS last name--it should be yours. That way, if he really IS committed and is there for you and the child, for years and years, you can consider changing the baby's name. But in my experience, most 'baby daddies' who have children outside of marriage, usually don't stick around for long. I know, I know, that's very old fashioned. I realize you think you are his soulmate (& hopefully he WILL stay committed), but the statistics aren't with you !
Good luck with your new bundle of joy.

I know how you feel. With my first we couldnt agree on any names. He wanted all hilly billy/ blonde bimbo names and he thought my names were just to wacky and weird.
We just kept looking for names we liked. Didnt know her name until she was born.
Both of you write a list of all the names you like. And add names when you find new ones. I went to the cemetary and looked at the name on the gravestones. You can get some really nice names there, and of course baby name books.
You may not have a name for the baby when she arrives but when you see her you will know what her name is.
When my daughter was born as soon as she was in my arms I just looked at her and said 'hello Danielle', I just knew it was her name. ( We had thought of this name when I was pregnant but I hated it)

Both of you chose a name that you like. Flip a coin - whoever wins the coin toss gets the name they chose as the first name & the one who loses the coin toss gets their name as the middle name. Then you both get a say in the babies name. Or just keep searching for names until you can find one that you agree on.
www.babyzone.com has a great baby name directory avalible.

You'll have to compromise, but make sure it goes w/ her last name and that she won't be tortured with it her whole life!!! What kind of names are you looking for? Traditional ones or unique ones? You can do a search for baby girl names on the internet! I'd give suggestions, but I don't know what you're looking for!!! Congrats and best of luck!!!

You win! You are the one who is gonna have to squeeze her out!!! Also at the hospital, they will call and ask YOU not him. So just smile and nod at his suggestions and name her what you want.
