my computer runs windowsXP, but i heard you could have windowsXP and windows2000 on your computer together. can you please tell me how do i get that on mines?

Well do you have windows 2000 cdrom? Just install the OS later on you got choice which OS you want to start from screen either windows XP or 2000

Why would you want an inferior OS system. Like saying I have a corvette but like to put cheap gas in it.

Trust me, do not get windows 2000.

Install win 2000 in another drive its so simple

Make primary boot device to CD rom.then insert WIN2000 cd in cd rom.Then system boots on cd then u can install WIN2000 in a drive (drive other than XP drive recommended) as it should be in NTFS..
Then your computer starts with two O.S.........

hey what u trying to do will be a mistake that will mess your system up,i have never heard about two different OS on one pc.u dont have to install w2000 cos that is an old os ,so to me is better to attached with Wxp and ride with it.the person who told u that,just want ur computer to run very very slow.
so plz dont install two different OS on ur computer.stick with XP the great

It normally works, when you install Win2000, then install Windows XP on another partition in that order.
