I was raised in various protestant evangelical churches and became Catholic in my 20's. There are a lot of Catholics -- over a billion of them. Not all of them are going to be great people. But most church-going Catholics try to follow Christ's teachings, and they welcome converts. I recommend that you talk with a PRACTICING Catholic that you know, or call around to different priests and tell them that you have some questions about Catholicism and may be interested. Sometimes priests are a little weird, but just keep calling till you find one that seems like he actually cares about you. I understand your desire to feel wanted. It is sometimes hard to be Catholic. I truly believe the faith, and because I do so, I have often been shunned by other Catholics. What you have to do is find other, well, "true believers" and support each other. See my web page on this issue, below.

You protestant Christians have just as bad a record for intolerance, death, and hatred as the Catholics do. You just haven't been around as long to rack up the body count. I am no fan of any religious zealot...but in my personal experience I have found that catholic PEOPLE are more tolerant and open minded then protestant denominations. I think the Vatican and Pope/hiearchy are another story. I am not wild about their leadership....but I like their culture. I'll be on the side of whoever has the hotter cheer leaders.

I don't understand your question...seems to be a radical interpretation of prophecies in the Book of Daniel...If true I'll support neither, since both are evil

Evidently, your Bible must have something different in it than mine.
Try to get some fresh stuff to smoke. That old stuff is making you think funny.
