How can I get my 2 1/2 yo to stop taking off his diaper all the time?

It's a stage that kids go through. Don't worry it is totally normal. If you can let him run around naked at home. This would be a good time to start potty training him if you haven't already. That way the both of you won't have to deal with nappies anymore. Let him wear "big boy" underwear. He might keep those on. It will be a mess if you just start training him but atleast you might solve the taking the nappy off part and it will help him learn quicker because pull ups and nappies take the mositure away so they can't feel it.

I agree that it may be time for potty training. Taking their diaper off at 2 1/2 is a good sign that they are ready to start using a potty chair. However, if your child isn't showing interest in being potty trained....buy some overalls that don't button on the legs! Overalls aren't foolproof but they help prevent or delay diaper removal! :) I used to have to put overalls on my dd just to get her to keep her clothes on! :) Good Luck!

Laughing here. Our 23 month old is a stinker like that too. We tried putting the diaper on backwards, but that only worked for about 10 minutes, then we resorted to duct tape. It's a pain in the butt, but after awhile he'll realise that he can't get it off and will stop trying . Then perhaps he'll be ready for some pull ups instead.

This is so normal. I was thought for sure almost three year old was going to be a nudist!
Introduce him to the potty. He is running around naked so there is no pants or underwear interfer. First train him sitting down. When the time is right he will start standing up to pee. Once he get comfortable with the potty introduce him to big boy underwear.
Don't worry he won't become a nudist. He will take to the underwear eventually. He will also start standing up to pee.

When a child begins taking off their diapers....... it's a good sign that it is time to start potty training!! Get some pull-ups & start talking on his level......... saying that he is now a big boy & big boy's use the potty!!

This is normal...he is telling you that he doesn't want to wear the diaper anymore. Get him some 'big boy' underwear and start potty training. He is ready.

We used to have to duct tape my son's diaper on at night...no issues during the day, but he'd take it off every night. During the day, try overalls so it's not as easy to get too...or onesies, they do make them his size, but more difficult to find. Also, try making him sit on a potty every time he takes it off...he'll either potty train and use it or decide he doesn't want to sit on the potty and leave it on!!!!

Maybe he's ready for potty training. Are the diapers soiled when he takes them off? Could be that he's doesn't like that feeling. If they are clean when he takes them, maybe he just likes having control of his clothing. Try putting extra pants or shorts on him so he can strip till his heart's content.

they have issues that would bypass on the doors so that you'll't open them (atleast interior the U. S. they do) make the bedroom boring and threat-free so that you'll't get harm and only save putting them lower back in mattress and thuring the mild off. My daughter those days had a difficulty the position she were given herself into drowsing all day and desirous to not sleep al l nighttime. I only grew to grow to be each and everything off interior the bedroom so if became darkish and she or he couldn't play and saved putting her into mattress, ultimately she were given lower back right into a common mattress time. do not provide in and do not make it look like a chilled recreation.
