Ask her alot about her and what she likes in a guy and what she likes to do. Share your interests and what you both would like to accomplish out of life like long and short term goals. Basically what kind of relationship is she looking for a friendship or something serious that is longterm.

just be yourself and act the way you acted with her before. Tallk abt what did you guys do? School , college, work just general stuff. Make sure you don't sound despo by saying that it has been ages you have seen her. Trust me girls do not like that....good luck
