I don't have an answer for that but I think it is a very good question! And it must have some of us stumped because you don't have a lot of answers yet!!

If someone kills a solider here in the US, will they still go to heaven? Or, how about, if someone kills an American solider in Iraq, will they go to heaven. In fact, how does God choose who goes or who does not? Is it by whether or not you are a good person? Do you just repent? In fact, can any murder still make it to heaven? Which perspective are you coming from? What does the Bible say? Thu shall not kill. Does this mean God really condems war? If so, why are there so many actual accounts of the Children of Israel involved in fighting their enemies? If so, why are we Christians asked to put on the "armor of God"? If so, why are there so many references related to fighting and solidering in the Bible? Be care of your answers.

The command says though shall not murder not though shall not kill Many biblical heroes killed people. There is a difference between murdering some one and killing some one. I know that to those who see this as an unjust war its all murder, but those soldiers are none the less in a war. Now if a soldier randomly shoots someone who was not an actual threat, that would be.Murder As far as someone who commits the sin of murder going to heaven YES they can still reach heaven King David had Uriah killed to hide his adultery with Uriah's wife. David became truly repentant and will have a thrown in new Jerusalem. The apostle Paul used to kill Christians then he met Jesus and accepted Him as his savior. We all have sin and no one with sin will enter heaven. That's why Jesus became the sacrifice to pay the price for all sin even murder If there is a true sincere turning away from sin toward Jesus.

According to the Catholic Church there is such a thing as a "just war". Which means that a war can in fact be a good thing (well, not necessarily good...but not necessarily bad).
Now, depending on whether the war is just or not would determine where the soldiers will end up after death. Killing in order to liberate a nation from the grips of tyranny and oppression is as "just" as it gets. Not that I'm saying that we went to war for the right reasons but sometimes the end justifies the means.

That is largely up to you. I cannot answer that for you. I will say this, if it had come to it I'd have kept my son out of the war but fortunately he was between the wars in age. I refuse to send a child of mine off to fight someone elses battles and though it takes great courage, the reason they draft them so young is that the kids do not know any better. I think that there is nothing more barbarous than war. So you decide it......there is no excuse for me to fight to the death except to defend yourself. FULL STOP....i am not a government ploy.....they are bastards as far as i am concerned taking advantage of youth like that. You may not or others may not agree with me well that would be tough now wouldn't it? Follow your heart and I highly doubt that your heart would tell you to kill. Like it or not that is my answer.

Kinda depends on what mood the individuals chosen God is in at the time. If the soldier is a Muslim and kills a goat loving half Christian half Buddhist fundamentalist then it could come to the Godly Coin Toss.

Of course they will!!! They are fighting evil, not fighting because they ARE evil, and they are doing it for the right reasons---not so they can have 72 virgins when they get to heaven like the terrorists. (I'm still wondering how that sounds like such a good idea. If your big thing is to have a virgin every night for 72 days---what then? Eternity is a long, LONG time!!!)

The sad thing that lies in The Christian faith is you can be pretty much forgiven of anything, if you repent (only thing bible says no on is if you deny the Holy Ghost) So, the answer is yes... But, I emphasis Sadly, as--I believe--that doctrine gives one a pass to do whatever knowing full well that after the act, he can ask for forgiveness.
"Believing there's no God means I can't really be forgiven except by kindness and faulty memories. That's good; it makes me want to be more thoughtful. I have to try to treat people right the first time around."- Penn Jillette, This I believe: There is no God.

I'm not sure about that, but what about this politician guys starting the wars, are they going to heaven?
If I need to save my life and need to kill somebody at the war, I don't really care, where I'm going to heaven or to ...
