People can care about themselves and others and not know God. You dont have to know God to be a good person. People just have to want better for themselves and others and they can have good morals. God is not a factor.

Of course it is possible to have good morals without God, morals are a set of standards set by society not by God. If you abide by the morals set by the society you live in then people will judge you as having good morals regardless of whether you believe in God or not. It is possible to have bad morals in a relationship with God. if you believe in God then you would know he also created evil. On the second point there are many people that have no knowledge of God whatsoever but still manage to have a long lasting relationship full of love.

There are a lot of problems with that question. But it's more of a statement isn't it?

First, you're operating off of the assumption that "good morals" are absolute rather than personal, which is incorrect. Morals are personal or tribal codes of conduct that are not universal law. They are not gravity, they change depending on the person, family, culture, religion.

And you're also assuming that people in a relationship need to adhere to religious indoctrination in order to find love. I suppose that's true for some -- people like to be with people that believe the same things. An equally valid question would be "How can you have a good relationship with your church meddling in your affairs?"

Being religious is not a guarantee to have a sucessful relationship, nor a prerequisite. Can I suggest you open your mind a bit?

Well, God bless YOU for asking that question! I would say you answered that question yourself....a person really can't and expect it to last. The Bible says to marry someone with the same beliefs, morals, and values as you, to make a relationship stand the test of time. That way when hardships come along(they always do) you both will be walking in the light and can lean on each other and the Lord to bring you through those difficult times.

Part about branching out to other people is being able to accept different norms. Just because someone does not have a good relationship with God, does not mean they are a bad person, they may just be going through tough times. God forgives because there is that understanding that humanity is not perfect.

Bottomline, its God's role to judge people, so lets not judge each other....

"Good" morals are relative. What is good to you is horrific to someone else. You are merely stating an opinion, not a fact. You are a human, you have no idea who is going to hell, whose life is unfilled or whose relationship won't last. You're speculating and doing so in the worst way. You are not God. You do not know these things to be true. Leave the real judging to God.

It just is not possible to have good morals in a relationship without Jesus Christ or in other words without God!

Sometimes you can't other times you just have to work at it.
if you dont believe that you can't have a relationship without god then you shouldn't get involved with someone who doesn't believe in God

I'm really so happy to read this question. sure there is no way . God is love.so there is no love without GOD.
GOD showed us good morals every second in his life and asked us to act as he did.
and as there is no true love without good morals,
so there is no good morals in love without GOD.#

Its not possible without faith, trust, love, respect & care to your wife/ husband.

If belife in God gives you that, it works for you. If it comes from within, it works for you. If you see point in it, it works for you.

You have to have above what ever the medium is. God helps a lot though. Faith is a powerful medication.
