Don't prepare or plan your speech. These matters handle automatically. If you have to prepare your first speech, you will be preparing speeches the rest of your married life. Let every thought and action flow like a river, casual and carefree.

I suppose you could join ToastMasters International if you want to prepare a really super speech-- but if you want to speak from your heart you wouldn't do anything so contrived. Just sit down and think about what it is you want to express to the woman you hope to be happily married to for the rest of your life, and think/feel she might want to tell you about her dreams and hopes and interests and dislikes and fears.... etc.

Say hello with a warm smile - tell her a little about yourself and your goals. Then ask her some questions about herself. Ask her what her expectations are of you and what she'd like to see happen or not happen in the developing relationship. Ask her about things she likes and dislikes - ask her questions that you'd like her to ask you.

if you are engaged that means that you and her already know about you then start talking about general interst between u guys, then slowly pick other interst and let the flow take you buddy
