If you had the power, could you forgive Adolph Hitler or Saadam Hussain ?

It would take a lot of praying on my behalf, but I recall what the word God says, "If you cannot forgive then I won't forgive you."

I've thought over this question for so long but I get the same answer each time. No. I can't forgive Hitler for anything that he did and I cannot forgive Saddam Hussein for what he did either. Hell, I wouldn't even think twice about forgiving Ivan the Terrible! Those men, those evil men are to be forgiving or whatever by God. Hence why I am not God and I don't have to forgive EVERYBODY.

I could forgive them, only through Jesus Christ and His love. But I still think they would be responsible for their actions.
and no sinner is worse than another.
They are all guilty before God.
They committed heinous crimes, and the end of their lives, I believe showed the impact of that type of choices.
Again, not in my power could I do anything but hate what they had done.Only through Christ, can we forgive.

That's a powerful question. One would have to physically be in that position to answer that question. I think I could forgive them, but not their actions. They would still have to suffer the consequences.

In order to pardon a prisoner, the prisoner must ACCEPT said pardon. It's hard to forgive someone who doesn't think they did anything wrong.
