other than me who think Jane Fonda aided the enemy in the Viet Nam War?

Jane is, in my opinion, an America hating P.O.S. who is the largest hypocrite on the planet. I for one will be happy when she achieves room temp. She did indeed commit treason. I remember very clearly seeing her sitting in that AA gun stating loudly that she wished an American aircraft would fly over.

I wish one had flown over and dropped a couple of bouncing bettys.

In a war, the enemy is the guy shooting at you, and it doesn't matter which side he's on. Everyone I know who was there have nothing but contempt for Jane. I wasn't there and I don't know her, but I gotta believe a photo op on an enemy anti-aircraft battery has got to be about the stupidest thing an American could have done during that time frame. The woman wasn't very bright back then, and it was a disgrace. As to being an agent of a hostile foriegn government, like say Billy Carter working for Lybia, I don't think so. Jane and Billy were morons, but I don't think they actually wanted to cause any harm. Unfortunately studiptiy is a lot like cancer, they both kill people. Jane sure as hell didn't hurt the enemy with those photos.

In my humble opinion Jane Fonda is a traitor and so is John Kerry. They both need to be deported to Viet Nam to live out their lives.

Not a Nam vet but yes i whole heartedly agree with you. After the TET offensive of 68 the communist north had lost more than 2/3 of its resouces. Hanoi Jane and John were moral shots in the arm for the north. because of there acts it gave them hope that civil strife at home (US) would cause such an uproar of anti-war rallies that they (US Government) would have no course but to pull out. They were right. In 73 when the peace accords were signed we pulled out all but the embassy. Until the collapse of the south in 75. So we did not lose the war we signed a peace treaty in 73. 75 is when the Embassy was closed and we pulled out our diplomats. Recap 73= end of Vietnam War. 75= Embassy being closed.

I didn't appreciate what she did at all. But, weren't we fighting so that others would have what we do... freedom of speech for one? While I was in the service, the cadre played Country Joe and the Fish. Remember the words to that song??? We had men that didn't want to go to Vietnam, men that wore sandals and uniforms together. It was a war we will never forget. Jane Fonda stood up for what she believed in and she was a huge celebrity at the time. We just heard her above all the others.

Show me a Viet Nam Vet/era vet who thinks she did right, and I'll show you a complete moron! She should have been tried for treason!! Her apologies fell on deaf ears because she's a pathological liar!

Drop it. This is an archaic and dead issue ...why not concern yourself with the good she has done and what is really going on now? by the way, do you think that Bush ever went without a meal in his life? i doubt it.
