No, that will be against their freedom. People should have the rights to say whatever they want. If you don't like them, the best thing to do is to ignore them. People should also have the rights to display banners against religion. If there is such a religion has problem with the public displays of Anti-religion, which means they don't agree with the freedom of speech, then go ahead ban them, fair enough?

Why? The majority of the population is religious in one form or another. If you are not fine, but why does the existence of people disagreeing with you offend you so much? Why would my church be something so distracting and offensive with its cross out front or biblical quote on the message board be offensive? If you want to build a building and put up a sign saying God isn't real, go ahead. I am not sure atheists would contribute to the building maintenece or come to meetings, but hey give it a shot.

Other than that allow people to believe or not believe as they see fit, and worship or sleep in as they see fit. I mean how is it affecting you one way or the other? If there is a tablet with the 10 commandments outside a courthouse or buddah statue in the nail salon you frequent, do look at it. Feel free not to pray to it. I think everyone will be fine.

Isn't that what is said about things that we religious people find offensive? If I watch TV and someone takes the Lords name in vain, it is offensive to me. But, I can choose to change the channel. If there is someone saying I am a moron for believing as I do and they post it on this site, it is offensive to me, but I can choose not to come on here. If someone wears clothing that I find suggestive or offensive, can I not look away?

I think that we should be very careful when we try to regulate what someone is allowed to wear or say or believe. You never know when that dog will turn around and bite you. I mean really, most politicians at least claim to be religious and would hate to alienate their base of religious voters, they might come after atheists instead.

We have freedom of religion in the Constitution, so no, we shouldn't. We also have laws separating aspects of church and state (think of all of the public school/prayer trials), but we need more so that we can take the religious right to court and prove that they are forcing their religion on the government.

I think that there should be laws passed (note the spelling) that require people who post on public message boards to pay attention to the conventions of language, but then that's more difficult than banning religion.

After how many thousands of years Jesus Christ and the cross are still intimidating people, huh?

I think there should be a law passed that says people have freedom to express their religion, oh wait, there already is!
