Sin would have sent everyone to hell but God in His love for us gave us a wonderful gift through His Son's sacrifice - He paid the price so we wouldn't have to. Yet as with any gift it must 1st be received. Therefore the minimum requirement is the only requirement accepting Jesus anything else leaves us to deal with the guilt and consequence of our sin.

Romans 3:23 (NLT)
For all have sinned; all fall short of God's glorious standard.

Romans 6:23 (NLT)
For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus our Lord.

Romans 10:8-11 (NLT)
Salvation that comes from trusting Christ—which is the message we preach—is already within easy reach. In fact, the Scriptures say, "The message is close at hand; it is on your lips and in your heart."
[9] For if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. [10] For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God, and it is by confessing with your mouth that you are saved. [11] As the Scriptures tell us, "Anyone who believes in him will not be disappointed."

The only thing that Jesus ask is that you believe on Him and ye shall be saved. Believing in Him stirs within you a need to pray and study His word. Doing the Lord's work. By becoming a volunteer to help those in need is a good start.

Evil is not being saved. No there is no bargaining chips with God. It is either Heaven or Hell. There is no purgatory.

Purgatory is not mentioned in the bible. It is a dogma of the Catholic church and is not at all Biblical.

Death is inevitable. The thief on the cross knew when his would occur, but we can not predict our own. After his death, the crucified criminal went to live in paradise with Jesus. Some of us will also live eternally in God's presence. But others will experience everlasting torment, forever separated from Him.
If we receive Jesus as our Savior, our penalty for sin is paid. We are adopted into God's family, and Heaven is our eternal home. If we reject Jesus, we remain alienated from the Lord and under condemnation for our sin. We are destined to experience eternal judgment. God won't accept any of man's excuses because there is no acceptable defense for unbelief. (Acts 4:12)
Become part of God's family today. Acknowledge your sinfulness, and express your faith in these words:
"God, I have sinned against You. (Romans 3:23) I've followed my own way and refused to give You the right to rule in my life. (Romans 3:10-12) I recognize I am separated from You and cannot rescue myself. I do believe that Jesus Christ is Your Son. I accept the truth of the Scriptures? that His death on the cross paid my sin-debt in full. (1 Corinthians 15:3-4) And I ask You to forgive me of my sins. (1 John 1:9) By faith, I receive You, Lord Jesus, as my personal Savior from this moment on."
If you just spoke those words to God, then, like the thief on the cross, you have received salvation? a gift of God's grace. The heavenly Father welcomes every person who comes to Him through His Son, regardless of background, age, or current situation. Through Jesus, the right to enter paradise is yours!

Ticket Master is selling seats, but they are expensive. You can also take Robin Williams' advice and use Pope on a Rope. Wash with it and go straight to heaven.

first of all no body had ever been created deserves to go to heaven with his own work but those who go to heaven go because of God's mercy.
so the question now "who deserves God's mercy?"

1) those who believe in God: this means that's only one God that creates every thing and control ever thing and give us the choice to be either god or bad.
2)those who do what GOD create them to do which is obeying God's orders and the most important god orders"TO IMPROVE THE EARTH TO MAKE A BETTER PLACE FOR LIVING"
3)those who love GOD and never stop asking GOD and depend on GOD
and about those go to hell are those with sine but God forgive all sins except that "to take another god and obeys him "
finally there is some people go to hell for some time until GOD forgive their sins then they enter heaven

It's impossible to get to heaven. But there are like 8 steps you have to get into heaven, apparently.

Step 1
-Love God
-Love your neighbor

Step 2
-Do not commit adultery, murder, steal, or give false testimony
-Sell everything
-Honor your mother and father

Step 3
-Hate your mother and father(Honor and hate at the same time?)
-Hate your wife, children, brothers, sisters and life itself

I'll stop here. The whole list is at http://youtube.com/watch?v=dzzORZhnCao

Believe in your heart in Jesus and accept the completed work of Christ on the Cross. "Romans 10:9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved."
As far as purgatory, I still can't find that anywhere in the Bible. It's a doctrine of some churches but that doesn't make it correct.

before ensuring a place in heaven, it will be better to ensure whether a place called "heaven" or "hell" exist after all... its all in ur mind...

if u r happy and satisfied with whatever u have, then u r in "heaven" at this very moment of time... otherwise its "hell"...

Look & knock within yourself until you find the kingdom of heaven. If you don't do this, what you think of as yourself will rot in the ground. Sorry to be so direct, didn't mean to offend, if I did, it just needs to be said.
