Neither of our female cats are neutered yet. When they go into heat they meow constantly. Is there anything I can do to hush them up until they are neutered?

Yes all queens meow lots when iin heat though some breeds are worse such as siamese, oriental and burmese.
You can get a hormone injection form vet that will bring them out of heat and keep them out for a set amount of time.

Females are SPAYED not neutered and yes they will meow like crazy during the heat. Get them spayed asap! There is nothing you can do to quiet the meowing, it's an instinct as they are calling out to any males around.

Nope, sorry, they will meow and meow and meow and meow until they are fixed and they go out of heat. There are many "folk remedies" that are supposed to make that happen sooner....one I hear a lot is use a cotton swab and stick it up there to make them think they've bred. This one doesn't work and could cause them a lot of harm-I've seen a cat badly injured by this "method" of ending a heat cycle.

attempt wearing him out by technique of interactively taking area in with him 30-60 min. a evening earlier mattress. it would want to or would no longer decrease it, he would merely be talkative(like some everybody is). perhaps yet another kitten is the answer. That kitten will preoccupy his time and he received't be meowing round searching for companionship on his nocturnal agenda. wish this works, i really do

Mine does, pretty much. Lots of rolling. Try to ignore as best you can. And you will be getting them spayed - males are neutered.

No, there isn't anything you can do until they are spayed. Neutered is the term for the operation done on a male.
