There is not much I can do to help unless you make your question a lot more specific....

In general, however, I will just say that if the parent is asking him to do something that is not abusive, or hurting him in anyway, and if he (the son?) , is under 18, then all I can say is that he should do it. He needs to learn that life is full of doing things that you don't want to do and I think he should do it because it is very good discipline to do the things that you don't want to do.

Thats all I can offer unless you are more specific.

Depends on what they are trying to make you do, and how old you are.

if you are 18 or older, then you can decide what ever you want and do what ever you want, if it is something bad or something small, then take a stand. if you are young ish then fight about it, thats what i would do, unless it gets to the point where they will take away something then let it be.
Older 18+: your choice no matter what
Younger 17-: take a stand, unless it gets worse, then let it be.

Depends what it is. If they want you to do something because you think it is because of their interest and not yours, then you need to let them know why you don't want to do it.

You didn't state what it is you don't want to do. That would be more helpful.

Sometimes parents make kids do things because they are trying to make you become like them. But, if you are not interested in doing what they want you to do, let them know. That's all I can say with little information you gave.

As long as it's not illegal or immoral, he should do what his parents say. If he chooses not to, then he also chooses to move out, foot his own bills, make all of his own decisions, deal with all of his own consequences, and be a man.

it depends what they want you to do. if it is creepy and weird, step away and don't listen to them, but if deep down you really know that it is for your own good, just listen to your parents. if you're not sure, and that voice doesn't think it's bad, but it's still not what you want, then follow your gut feeling. you are your own person.
