Im 18 and Im not one of those persons who just because their friend did something I do it too. But lately Ive just been more aware that Im sort of a freakish. Im 18 and for starters Ive never been kissed, never had a boyfriend, and yeah, probably Ive had some dates (like what, 2?). I mean, right now everybody is worried about being pregnant, but I not even been kissed!!!. Im not what you would call really shy or ugly (Im not conceided, but just so you can judge Ill tell you that overall my friends find me pretty). What am I supposed to do?

You are so normal. I was almost 20 when I got my first kiss. Sad, I know, but true. I had abuse problems I was battling through, so I found trusting anyone to be extremely difficult, especially men and boys!! I lost my virginity at 21 which by today's standards is late, but I'm in my 30's now and happily married with 2 beautiful kids. Don't worry...love will just find you when you are not even prepared. My advice to you is to be YOU.
Thank the Lord you aren't any of those others giving themselves over to anyone!! Because in just a few short years your going to look back on your 20's and either cringe or breathe a sigh of relief that you did or didn't do some stupid stuff. I would say to be more personable and happy to guys your interested in. Guys love girls who appear to be cheerful and having a great time. Also, guys are visual beings, so doing your hair, wearing a little makeup and dressing nice will get their attention.(note I said nice, not hoochie mama) But, the prettiest girl won't get anywhere with a boy if her attitude and personality come up short!

What to do?? YOU'RE the normal 18 year old and the ones who're sleeping around are the nasty ones.
Don't change, because eventhough you don't have as many guys after you, you'll have more guys who'll want to marry you in a few years. Guys want "easy" when it comes to dating and using, but they want hard to get when it comes to marriage. You're a normal red blooded girl, who just happens to have a higher set of standards that other girls. You value your dignity and are just sparing yourself the heartaches, diseases and unwanted pregnancies.
What are you supposed to do? Don't change; that's what! ;o)
The other girls are like pebbles, they're a dime a dozen and easy to find, but you're a gem. One of these days a guy with an eye for the finer things will recognize that special sparkle and he'll know that he's found a diamond among the pebbles. You'll have less dates, but more marriage proposals than all those girls put together. I promise you.
I was just like you and now I have a hot and succesful husband and two wonderful kids. Your turn will come. I promise.

Nothing wrong with that, and you shouldnt be doing things just because your friends are. If you want to take your time, then take your time! Everything will happen when the time/or boy is right. hey at least you dont have to worry about being pregnant!!!
