There are no gods. Prayer is nothing more the wishful thinking, and will not impact any outcome.

A coin flip is considered based on random chance in mathematics. (Although whether you get heads or tails is based on the way you flipped it, with what speed, and all other factors...)
This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. And if we know that he hears us—whatever we ask—we know that we have what we asked of him.
If any of you lacks wisdom, he should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to him. But when he asks, he must believe and not doubt, because he who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind. That man should not think he will receive anything from the Lord; he is a double-minded man, unstable in all he does.

The operative word here is "IF"...I have personally received more answers than just yes or no...Some of them rather lengthy, though most are short.
(By the way, does silence count as yes? Or no? Would that be the coin landing on it's edge? Just a thought.)

Prayer is not a yes or no thing...it isn't a wishing well where you beg to get all your favorite toys. Prayer is meant to be a quiet communion between you and God, where you LISTEN as well as talk (most people have forgotten about the listening part).

why don't you lay off of the prayer questions, if you don't believe then you don't believe. But there is no reason for you to continue asking the same questions. Maybe your prayers haven't been answered in the past because you don't REALLY believe!

No. Could the answer be yes, no, or WAIT.? If we pray for just good luck, do you really think that's the right thing to do? God wants us to pray for others too..and not be self centered.Do our prayers say THANKS too. Do we give thanks for all the good things we have? Do we give thanks for our physical and mental health, our schooling, our jobs, our loved ones, our home & safety??? .We should.. Do we thank God for the greatest gift ever given and that being our salvation?

God is not a magic 8 ball. He has lots of answers other than yes and no! And gives a lot more depth!

Prayer is answered in more than Yes or No. Prayer is sometimes answered in "Wait".

Yep. Even then, nothing would happen. It's just a coin.

yeah, why not... but first look at the face on the coin... who is it of? Prayer is not within the dominion of that face, and vice versa. Think on it.
