You did not do what you were supposed to, and you (and your daughter) are now paying the price!! Rather than crying over your situation, which does not help, go get your car out of the impound (you are going to have to pay storage for every day that it is there) and get the legal situations handled!!!

You are trying to improve your lot in life, but you will never do so until you step up to the plate and take responsibility for your actions!!! By failing to handle the situation on time, you have cost yourself more money.

It would be cruel to ask you if you wanted some cheese to go with your whine, wouldn't it?

Aww that's rough I'm sorry. Your looking at some serious cash to fix this problem. Wish I could tell you other wise but I cant. For starters there's the fees just to get your license reinstated then if you were issued a "driving while on suspended" ticket there's the fees for that. I hate to tell you this but that is an arrestable offense. Regardless of whether or not you get your license back they are not going to just give you your car back you will have to pay all charges for the impound such as daily storage fees, the cost of the towing, etc.

A trip to McDonald's, a card and a gift...you remembered and you made it fun for the 2 of you. That is what she will remember. Sorry to hear that you will have to spend your bonus on getting your car out of impound but lets step back and look at this. Why are you here? I'm not criticizing because you really sound like someone who learned from this misfortune. So take a deep breath and promise yourself you will never be in this situation again. As for your daughter's birthday, you're lucky because she will have another one next year.

Although it seems like a really big deal at the moment; it's not. Children are VERY resliient and they will understand your predicament AND STILL LOVE YOU. It is important for you to KEEP ON PLUGGIN' don't sweat the small stuff. My car has been impounded in Bklyn, stranding me the wife and kids there and we couldn't get home to South Jersey. There are much bigger struggles to worry about than the car vs. birthday party.

Still have the party, but make it a bit lower budget; Entennmans cake, a few candles, a couple gifts from the dollar store and life continues the next day.

You have to stay strong for your daughter.

Again, like in the answer I gave to your other question, it's choice and consequence, and obviously you aren't making very good choices. Start by deciding you aren't going to drive without a license, and that you never again do those things that caused your license to be suspended in the first place.

Even in driving, you obviously did something to attract the attention of the police to be stopped and pulled over, or they would have never known you were driving on a suspended license.

Only you can make the decisions that will make your life better. School? Great. Working? Wonderful, you're on the way to being a better you.

I know its a pain but I've had to deal with the same thing.
the important thing is not to beat yourself about it, This needs to be Dealt with fast. In my mind there is no question what you need to do. Use the money to get the car out, make it up to your daughter later. the car is a must because you must drive to work. without work you and your girl are in an even bigger fix. contact the court about your license and hope for the best.

Awwwwwwwww! First of all this is the time for your child's father to step up and be a man. If for some reason he can not what about his mom or your mom.
