im in 9th grade and he is in 6th, we seemed to be going back and forth with liking eachother in the past year since we met, but it never worked out cuz i didnt kno if this would work like cuz of the age diff., but now i think i like him now again, i always sort of have, but now i do. i mean he is mature for his age, and hes got everything i look for in a guy, but just our ages holds me back, and if i might get like ridiculed, but if we like eachother... then shouldnt age not matter?...so idk, but should i totally not go for him?

o my boy friend is 18 I'm 14.. and age seriously ain't nothing but a number..i bet if you dated him your heart would be fulfilled and your happiness reached to new heights. and if people say something.. ask them if love has boundaries.. it dint! just do what your heart wants not what your brain fears and you will find happyness.

It's normal to have feelings for people but that doesn't mean that you should seek a relationship with him. He's 12 years old and you're 14. Age difference is not the problem it's more a matter of common interests and social maturity. You in high school and you have a very different focus than he does. You will be ridiculed if he's your boyfriend but being friends is just fine. For now be his friend and really get to know him, he might be the best friend you ever had and it doesn't matter how old he is. But Dating is another matter and you should have higher expectations for yourself.

the only age that matters is that you are both young. Stop listening to all the pressure to have a girl friend or boy friend and enjoy just being friends. you will meet many new guys when you get into high school and even more when you finish school and then you can worry about more than just friendship and the age difference won't matter.

What in the heck is wrong with you, of course it is wrong. He is maybe 11 yrs old and your 14 yrs old. Good grief!! Your probably started your monthly period already and he is not old enough to wear a jock cup. Find one your age and leave this little child alone, before you get your butt into more trouble than you could ever even think could happen. What are ya, a cradle robber.

Age wouldnt matter, for some people yes, for others no. if you really like him, go for it, what harm can be done. but, personally, you should go for a guy more your age because he can change once he goes through puberty and he is alittle young for dating, even if his parents let him. Also, personally my opinion, its like having a teen date a kid. It jst doesnt seem right. It would matter in the adult world, but in kid-teen world, its VERY akward, why do you think you would be ridiculed? Though, its your choice.

well ummm my parents were 10 years apart ya gross and i know someone that are 22 years apart and there married and have 5 kids so id say go for it
