It won't ruin your hair. It might be rough on the parts you have to bleach. Of course, you have to bleach the black and put the red back in for it to show. Bleach is rough on hair. Just condition as directed. Good choice doing tips. Don't like it? SNIP :)

I would not in case you're looking for a good job. Some employers would freak at that hairstyle even though it gives you the image of individuality.
Please be conservative when it comes to your hair.
