How does one go about getting a boyfriend when they are 10? Why would someone's parents allow their 10 year old to date? In all honesty, I'm not one to judge you, I'm just very opinionated. 14 is still a little young to date, and certainly too young to know what "love" is. I'm 16 and I think I'm still a little unsure. Don't go there yet. Give yourself a couple of years and see how you still feel then.

Only tell him you love him when you know the time is right. When you know that the feeling that you have for him is unique (in a good way) then start thinking about how you'd tell him and when. Tell him probably on an anniversary, but, be careful, you don't wanna be shut down when you tell him.

Based on your age, I would recommend not telling him you love him, girls mature a lot faster then guys, a guy that is 14 or 15 may not be mature enough to handle it. Then again I do not know your boy friend, sometimes people are special, and if they are special you should probably let them know they are.

hi, this is hard to answer because my first b/f was when I was 16 and I new it was only puppy love or infatuation..if you have known this boy since you were 10 there definitely a connection but you are so young and have the rest of your young adult life ahead of you and I wouldn't want to see you say 'I love you' to the wrong guy and make wrong moves on both your parts...good luck hon!

Uhh hunny there is no such thing as a boyfriend at 10 yeas old...but its been 4 years && hes probably your boyfriend && your bestfriend..i'd tell him this valentines or his next birthday...(whichever comes first) don't make it weird just casually like when your about to hang up the phone or in a text...its your choice..just givin my opinion...LOL

it sounds cliche but your way too young to love him. You may like him a lot but the fact that you're on Yahoo answers asking strangers if you love him should have told you you're probably too young to be asking. Why did you have a bf at 10 anyway, where's your mom?

when you know deep inside that you would do anything for him, even die for him, then you could say you love him, however at 14 yrs old its kinda young to use those strong words. also if hes only like 14 then hes not mature yet. wait till hes about 16-20 yrs old and see how he acts.
